U-Load has safety as its first priority. You the customer have a major part to play in protecting our staff, other road users and the general public.
- Make sure that all goods are securely attached to the pallet
- Load the pallet evenly i.e. it is not one side heavy
- Load the pallet with the heaviest and sturdiest goods on the bottom
- Do not allow the goods to overhang the pallet
- Make sure the pallet is fit for purpose, as it will be handled many times by a forklift
- Ensure that you accurately declare the weight
- Only load a pallet to its maximum carrying weight
- Check for leaks before dispatch
- Please check that the collecting driver has all of the appropriate documentation and information
- Please ensure that there are safe loading and unloading facilities available at both the collection and delivery points.
